It has been quite awhile I have not written any poem lately. Life is such like transition we are facing so many changes and coping up with all these changes especially for the transgender to face their new image. We can't look perfect but most importantly is our true self. It is the inner beauty that is in our nature that is true femininity.
Here, is a poem I written to reflect my life in all these changes....
"I am what I am now"
What I am is in my creation
Image of my own reflection
And dun give me that look
I know I don't look so good
Just dun take me for a fool
What I have here to prove
Everything in me ain't true
So what if life is full of woes
Could I change my own fate
Or my look is so damn bad
There's no reason to be sad
Most important is to accept
Who am I, what I want to be
Then we should be content
Beauty only to do us proud
It's our thought that counts
Life isn't so full of sparkles
But if we know to treasure
We can find that pleasure
Right in our inner gesture
The true femininity nature
You can still be wonderful
No need to look beautiful
